Blue Water Co-packing / Social Sparkling Wine Opens in St. Clair County, Michigan

August 15, 2022

St. Clair County is now the official headquarters for SOCIAL organic wines.  In May of 2022, SOCIAL sparking wine leased a 30,000 square-foot building in Port Huron to start a beverage Co-packing facility.  The company received a $10,000 "Build Our City" CDBG grant from the City of Port Huron.  The owner is an entrepreneur that returned to the region (and her Michigan roots), after working for eight years in sales and marketing for Nestle USA, and then launching SOCIAL while living in Chicago.

Social wines can be found in several retailers, and is available in over 300 Landry's restaurants.  SOCIAL organic wines are made with superfoods and are gluten & sulfate free, offering those who love seltzers a much cleaner and healther drink.

The Economic Development Alliance (EDA) of St. Clair County, Michigan, in partnership with Kramer Realty, assisted the company with its property site search, as well as facilitated the city grant received, provided potential canning line connections and helped with opportunities to market their wine locally.
