Position Summary: A growing manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to lead and manage all aspects of warehouse operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead warehouse team in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with shipping and receiving standards.
  • Oversee warehouse operations including inventory control, shipping/receiving, and logistics.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement efforts and 6S initiatives.
  • Organize and lead required employee training and team-building activities.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs, and implement corrective/improvement actions.
  • Support plant operations through effective warehouse management.
  • Enforce strict adherence to inventory control policies, including FIFO.
  • Coordinate material movement to/from external warehouses.
  • Ensure incoming product meets required specifications.
  • Oversee accurate and timely outbound shipments to customers.
  • Minimize premium freight costs through proactive logistics planning.
  • Perform daily safety walk-throughs and enforce safety standards.
  • Manage container usage, packaging, cycle counts, and physical inventory.
  • Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned by leadership.

Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise warehouse personnel, including training, work assignment, performance appraisals, and issue resolution, in compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements.

Environmental Responsibilities:

  • Support environmental action teams and procedures.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety in all warehouse and dock areas.
  • Participate in safety and emergency response training.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; associate degree or higher preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant warehouse and supervisory experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Valid forklift license with crane training required. Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift/move up to 25 pounds regularly.
  • Frequent use of hands, arms, hearing, and vision.
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk throughout the workday.
