We are seeking a dynamic Recruiter to join our team at M.L. Chartier. In this role, you will be instrumental in sourcing and attracting top talent to meet the diverse needs of our clients across Michigan. Your contributions will be vital to our continued success and growth in the recruitment industry.
Responsibilities
- Source and attract candidates through various channels including job boards, social media, and networking.
- Conduct interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit for client needs.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle from job posting to offer negotiation.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing requirements and develop effective recruitment strategies.
- Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) to maintain candidate records and streamline the hiring process.
- Build relationships with candidates and clients to foster a positive recruitment experience.
Requirements
- · Proficient computer skills; working with various software, websites and programs
- Excel, Word, Outlook, OneNote, Google Docs, Microsoft Team 365
- · Must be comfortable and great with numbers – basic math
- · Able to communicate across various forums including email, phone, text, messaging, fax and snail mail.
- · Ability to work in a team environment with many passionate team members
- · Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment under pressure/deadlines
- · Ability to travel to other locations as needed and necessary for position at company expense.
- · Effective verbal and written communication skills
- · Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- · Follow instructions given both orally or in writing
- · Ability to work independently, with accuracy and in accordance with company safety and quality standards
- · Ability to communicate in English with other employees for the purpose of hazard recognition, problem solving, or other purposes
- Proven experience in executive or technical recruiting is preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential.
- Familiarity with HRIS systems such as PeopleSoft or UltiPro is a plus.
- Ability to perform cold calling and engage potential candidates effectively.
- Experience with campus recruitment initiatives is beneficial but not required.
