About the Team: Join a dedicated team of six supply chain professionals at ZF Axle Drives Marysville, LLC, a leading manufacturer of axle drive systems serving Stellantis. Our team plays a critical role in managing inventory and supplier demand planning for Tier 1 and Tier 2 automotive assemblies. We are committed to achieving inventory targets and meeting Key Performance Indicators through precise logistical execution and data accuracy. Utilizing SAP, we ensure seamless inventory transactions and maintain robust records to support operational excellence in a fast-paced automotive environment.
What you can look forward to as a Supply Chain Specialist:
- Report corrective actions and maintain accurate AP workplace for incoming Material Master Set Up parts. Effectively set up Material Masters and corresponding BOMs for new and current parts. Responsible for integrity and accuracy of production and prototype BOMs and shipments.
- Participate and coordinate engineering change activities to avoid or minimize risk of obsolescence. Participate in activities related to launch of new suppliers, customers, programs or products.
- Manage the flow of materials from suppliers to ensure on time delivery to meet production schedules.
- Monitor scrap process in SAP to ensure it’s being utilized in its proper format and train teardown operators for efficiency and accuracy.
- Compile and analyze data to generate monthly department reports.
- Participate in or lead supply chain management process improvement projects such as inventory optimization. This involves analyzing inventory data, identifying trends, minimize costs and maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Initiate corrective actions for any internal / external issues that may impact KPIs, both internal and external such as customer delivery ratings or inventory targets.
- Identify and report root causes relating to any potential, missed, or late customer delivery, raw material, stock outs or excess freight, utilizing methods such as 5Why, 8D, CARS, etc.
