Under the direction of the Quality Supervisor/Manager this position is responsible for Performing Process/Production validation tests, initiating corrective action on non-conformity as well as recording and filing results. Knowledge or willingness to learn proper techniques is essential. This job position is for an afternoon shift (3pm-11pm).
Responsibilities of Position:
- Perform and monitor the overall quality of parts from in-process to final inspections to auditing
- Verifies that operators and manufacturing acceptable quality parts and running to SPC specifications
- Perform quality related testing
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing practices, inspection systems and programs are required
- Basic knowledge of mathematics required
- Initiates review of non-conformity
- Basic knowledge of mathematics and SPC and MSA preferred
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
