Position Summary:
SEMCO Energy is seeking two Meter & Billing Specialists to join our Customer Accounting team! Our Meter & Billing Specialists are responsible for managing the accuracy of monthly customer billings and data in the Customer Information System (CIS), processing meter read files and meter reading exceptions (high/lows); including analyzing meter data to validate its accuracy taking the appropriate corrective action as needed. Our Meter & Billing Specialists also work with both internal & external business partners to resolve inquiries and issues, act as subject matter experts on any meter and billing matters, and assist in developing recommendations to solve issues related to business operations.
