Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Maintain rigid safety standards as it relates to plant operation.
- Work on projects with all other plant departments.
- Perform work on equipment and projects as assigned in a reasonable and timely fashion.
- Keep work area, tools, and maintenance supplies in a clean and acceptable condition at all times.
- Maintain all equipment to a top level working condition.
- Be able to do paperwork that is required on the job: P.M. documentations, etc.
- Be able to do daily, weekly and monthly preventative maintenance.
- Recommend machine repairs, issue work orders.
- Be able to determine priority of daily work as it occurs.
- Do all work deemed necessary for the safe and all over efficiency of the plant and its employees.
- Be able to work together with others to complete a task.
- Be able to stay after scheduled work hours or come in on a twenty-four-hour call basis.
- Report and/or initiate corrective action for any unsafe conditions immediately. Continue training as required.
- Clean machines and locates oil leaks and missing fittings.
- Replace Lamps as needed
- Repair and maintenance of bathroom facilities. And keeps parking lots and walk ways clean and free of debris.
- Maintain all documentation in a neat, orderly and accessible manor.
- All hi lo drivers must maintain safe driving speeds, have an acute awareness of all surroundings, stop at all cross aisles.
- Supervisory Responsibilities- In the event that this position is becomes vacant, the Maintenance Manager will resume responsibilities.
- Environmental Responsibilities- May be required to functions as a member of the environmental response action team, with specialized training as listed in the tracking system. Provides OJT to personnel where appropriate.
