US Farathane is seeking a Human Resource Generalist. US Farathane has been a leading source of plastics manufacturing, supplying the automotive industry for over 40 years. Through highly technical research and development, coupled with a diverse and knowledgeable Management Team and dedicated Associates, US Farathane has continued to grow each year.

We provide customers with a wide range of full-service support from black box design concepts to highly engineered composites, TPE’s and TPO’s as well as specialized extrusion and compression technologies.

Human Resource Generalist to support our plant operations. This role is integral to the success of our HR function, providing guidance on compliance, employee relations, talent acquisition, and core HR processes. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and passionate about fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure HR practices comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Administer employee benefits programs, including FMLA and short-term disability for both hourly and salaried staff.
  • Manage full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, testing, and selecting candidates for open positions.
  • Lead new hire orientation programs to support onboarding and engagement.
  • Maintain accurate records of personnel transactions including hires, promotions, transfers, performance evaluations, and separations.
  • Advise management on employee relations matters, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  • Serve as a resource for employees and supervisors regarding HR policies and procedures.
  • Support the hourly employee performance review process to ensure consistency and fairness.
  • Prepare separation documentation and analyze trends to reduce turnover and absenteeism.
  • Accurately process and transmit hourly payroll; serve as payroll backup.
  • Monitor attendance and issue corrective actions when necessary.
  • Maintain current and accurate job descriptions for all plant personnel.
  • Support organizational goals by contributing to HR strategy development.
  • Assist the HR Manager with departmental initiatives and special projects.
  • Provide backup support across the HR department as needed.
  • Participate in environmental training and ensure compliance with safety and evacuation protocols.
