ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
An employee in this classification is required to perform some or all of the following duties, however these do not include all of the tasks which the employee may be expected to perform: provide supervision of professional, para-professional and clerical staff; provide direct services, program development and administration of the program; may participate in formulation of agency policies; provide overall clinical and program management of assigned service area or program; participate in and/or chair agency committees; provide training and direction to staff; represent CMH in outside groups/activities; review and supervise progress of cases with staff; schedule activities of staff; hire employees within the program; may provide direct service to service recipients and/or consultation to other community agencies; ensures the maintenance of accurate personnel and program records; implements policies related to employee performance; comply with Alcohol & Drug Testing Policy (06-001-0010) and Background Check Policy (06-001-0015), as well as supervisors/designee directives; maintain confidentiality.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position supervises professional, para-professional and clerical staff within the assigned program area. This position receives supervision from the CCO and Division Director/designee.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Technical Skills
Education:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work, or Professional Counseling
Licensure:
- Fully Licensed Master Social Worker or Professional Counselor
- Valid Driver’s License
Experience/Skills:
- Familiar with evidence-based practice related to mental health services and related to population at assigned program
- Knowledge of other professions involved in mental health services delivery
- Knowledge of community mental health treatment programs
- A minimum of three (3) years of mental health experience
- - Demonstrated ability with Microsoft and Word software
Other:
- Must qualify as QMHP, QIDP, or QCMHP, according to program assignment
- If using Agency vehicles, must pass random drug and alcohol screening
