Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced FTTH Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of fiber-optic internet service to residential and business customers. This role requires a strong understanding of fiber optics, excellent customer service, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install fiber-optic lines from curb to customer premises (aerial and underground).
- Set up Optical Network Terminals (ONTs), routers, and other network equipment.
- Terminate, splice, and test fiber-optic cables using appropriate tools and methods.
- Perform troubleshooting and service calls to resolve internet connectivity issues.
- Ensure a clean and professional installation at every site.
- Maintain accurate records of work completed.
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications are a plus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various conditions and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license
- Must be comfortable working from height off ladders and buckets trucks
