1. General Objective: To help Improve functions of the Plants.

2. Day to Day Responsibilities:

Lean / Continuous Improvement / Strategy
Work with leadership to identify key projects that will provide the most benefit to PTM Corporation.
Lead continuous improvement projects from concept to completion.
Report progress of projects to management and ensure progress towards goal of cost savings is achieved.
Support innovation and cost reduction programs in place.
Provide training for plant personnel on lean concepts as needed.
Assist team members in identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing change.
Lead Kaizen teams in multiple day, rapid improvement events monthly.
Development and implementation of the required improvement standards.
Create and manage lists with project descriptions, issues, and potential solutions with timelines.
Work on product flow, helping to increase productivity.
Work on improving production processes in each department.

3. Safety:

A. Ensure the proper use of PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection) while out on the floor.
B. Awareness of Office Ergonomics
C. Knowledge of EMS Policy/Objectives
D. Annual training in SWPPP
E. Universal recycling (toner cartridges, batteries, light bulbs)

4. Culture:

A. Follows the Code of Honor, policies and procedures, and applicable State/Federal Laws
B. Perform other duties as required.
C. Remain an associate in good standing.
