Pure Michigan Business Connect (PMBC) is partnering with Macomb County and the Michigan Defense Center in hosting Michigan Defense Connect, a summit connecting Michigan suppliers to defense companies for contract opportunities. This is a completely free initiative to address immediate procurement needs and facilitate connections with qualified Michigan partners. With Michigan’s exceptional engineering, R&D and advanced manufacturing capabilities, there is great opportunity for defense industry procurement teams to leverage the highly skilled workforce, infrastructure and vast supplier network that only exist here. Programming at the summit will highlight collaboration among defense, automotive and cybersecurity industries. The day will feature a morning program, with the balance of the day dedicated to one-on-one meetings between buyers and Michigan suppliers.
