Mueller Impacts Co. is seeking a Setup, Service and Operator to join our dynamic team! Mueller Impacts Company continues to lead in innovation, service diverse markets with unmatched expertise. We are a prominent manufacturer of close-tolerance aluminum impact extrusions to industries ranging from automotive, defense, sporting goods, and more.
- We have openings on both our Afternoon Shift - 3 pm to 11 pm and 11 pm . Shift premium $.35/hr. on the afternoon shift.
- Setup and service all vertical and horizontal presses following blueprint, work order and chart specification.
- Reads blueprint to verify part dimensions.
- Sets up machine by aligning and bolting specific dies to ram and bolster of press.
- Runs multiple pieces of equipment at the same time.
- Changes and adjusts feed mechanisms, dies, and stop guides according to specifications.
- Starts machine to obtain sample and measures product to verify machine setup, using templates and gauges.
- Examines product for surface defects and to determine causes.
- Inspects machines for malfunction and replaces worn or broken parts, using hand tools.
- Lubricates moving parts.
- Notifies workers to stop the operation of machines that malfunction.
- Quality and productivity standards are expected to be met at all times.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
