Job Overview
We are seeking Process Technicians to join our manufacturing team on our weekend shift.
Weekend Shift Schedule:
Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays (12-hours per day, work 36 hours and get paid for 40)
1st Shift: 5:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
2nd Shift: 5:00 p.m. - 5:30 a.m.
Ideal candidates will be responsible for overseeing production processes, ensuring operational efficiency, and maintaining quality standards. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where technical skills and problem-solving abilities are highly valued. Process Technicians will play a key role in supporting continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring safety compliance across the production floor.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate molding process parameters through systematic injection molding.
- Troubleshoot, oversee and maintain molding process and capabilities.
- Interface with engineering, operations and quality for advanced product quality planning.
- Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects.
- Provide feedback to design team about molding capabilities.
- Gather, analyze and present data to support decision making.
- Initiate and lead tooling changes and validate those changes.
- Ability to operate injection press robotics.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience with injection molding process engineering.
- Two-year Technical degree preferred but may be waived in lieu of additional related industry experience.
- Hands-on-experience of injection molding press functions and controllers.
- Training in systematic and scientific molding, such as RJG preferred.
- Demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Ability to clearly speak, write and communicate in English, across multiple levels in the organization.
- Basic computer knowledge
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and safety in respective environment.
