Salary Range: $58,609.00 - $77,126.00 Annually.
Supervise the work activities and personnel of multiple nursing division programs at the Public Health Department and to perform related work as required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with interviewing, supervision and discipline of nursing division employees including clerical staff.
- Orient new staff to policy, procedures of program, division and department.
- Plan, coordinate and evaluate the work of subordinate personnel.
- Supervise field staff and personal health programs and personnel.
- Supervise the execution of the medical orders, development of client care programs and nursing practices.
- Schedule program activity, meetings, and work assignments.
- Assist with preparation and maintenance of personnel records and reports.
- Assist with planning and conducting in-service training programs.
- Write goals, objectives and plans.
- Review program specific materials, pamphlets, etc.
- Prepare accurate, timely, detailed reports.
- Conduct program, division, or community meetings.
- Attend program updates and other training.
- Facilitate success of minimum program requirements and State of Michigan accreditation requirements for programs supervised.
- Other duties as assigned.
