What You'll Do

As a Water & Fire Mitigation Technician, you will be responsible for responding to residential and commercial property damage caused by water, fire, mold, and other disasters. You will work alongside an experienced team to restore homes and businesses while providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to emergency service calls for water, fire, and mold damage.
  • Perform water extraction, structural drying, demolition, and cleanup.
  • Set up and monitor drying equipment.
  • Clean and restore contents and structures affected by fire and water damage.
  • Document job progress using company software and photos.
  • Communicate professionally with homeowners, insurance representatives, and team members.
  • Follow SERVPRO standards, safety procedures, and IICRC guidelines.
  • Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and warehouse organization.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for emergency response.

Qualifications

  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Comfortable working in physically demanding environments, including crawl spaces, attics, and varying weather conditions.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Restoration experience is preferred but not required—we provide training.
