JOB SUMMARY:
This in-person teaching assignment may include a full range of undergraduate courses in economics as well as some business courses.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teaching assignments may include day, evening, weekend, and/or online courses.
- Maintaining scheduled office hours, advising students, developing curriculum, and participating in college service and professional development activities.
- Leadership in developing and improving our academic courses.
- Community service is encouraged.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
- Reports to the Chief Academic Officer/Senior Vice President.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Master of Business Administration with 18 credit hours in Economics, MA Economics, or Doctor of Philosophy in Economics.
- All academic degrees must be from a regionally accredited college or university.
- Ability to maintain good relationships with students, staff, and community members.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Teaching experience at the community college level.
- Proficient with computer skills, including the use of internet-based tools and PowerPoint.
- Experience utilizing Learning Management Systems for course development and enhancement.
