ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Front Line to our business - voice of the customer
Partners with sales manager(s) to establish strong, long-term relationships with customers.
Ensure high-quality customer service, including rapid response to all inquiries.
Enter accurate and thorough customer information, including customer addresses, contact information, sales orders, parts specs, production specifications, and packaging information.
Troubleshoot problems and assist in rectifying complaints.
Discuss material and processing requirements with the customer, including quote to order
Identify materials available to meet customer order specifications based on product requirements.
Monitor the status of open orders.
Work with the shipping department to maintain on-time delivery.
Work with the production scheduler to expedite orders with short lead times or unusual requests.
Prepare customer-requested reports.
Identify customer needs and advise customers of potential issues with orders, i.e., material shortages.
Resolve customer complaints through interaction with quality and management teams
Keep sales and management informed of all customer information, including unusual orders/inquiries.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Pay: $45,000.00 - $48,000.00 per year
