Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee daily operations within our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in factory management, manufacturing processes, and team leadership. This role is vital in ensuring efficient production workflows, maintaining safety standards, and optimizing overall plant performance. The Production Manager will coordinate various departments, manage resources, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to meet production goals and quality standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize the performance of molding and heat treat department, including all aspects of operation, quality, process improvements, lean manufacturing, and molding optimization to produce quality parts.
- Implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality.
- Works with all levels of staff and across functional teams to increase the aptitude and skills (materials, equipment including tooling and processing)
- Manage and train staff, including team leads and operators, to optimize productivity and maintain high-quality output.
- Develop, implement, enforce and ensure process control.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies across all departments.
- Maintain accurate production records, inventory levels, and reporting documentation.
Requirements:
- 10 years of experience in manufacturing or factory management roles within a production environment. Previous injection molding experience preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively in a fast-paced setting.
- Proficient problem-solving skills, analytical ability and technical comprehension.
- Knowledge of safety standards and regulations relevant to manufacturing facilities.
- Demonstrated strong computer skills.
- Strong managerial and communication skills, capable of teaching and generating results while enhancing the work environment and supporting company policies.
