Description:
An employee in this classification is required to perform some or all of the following duties, however these do not include all of the tasks which the employee may be expected to perform: provide telephone help desk and/or face-to-face technical assistance and/or training to computer users and other technical areas; provide various analysis reports for Management (e.g. budget request information, etc.); provide technical assistance for hardware, software and peripheral equipment and provide problem resolution; order, configure and install personal computers, peripheral equipment, productivity software and/or equipment; order supplies, hardware/software for the IT Department; maintain/update computerized records of agency hardware and software license inventory and reports of such items; create and maintain/update current user/department training/procedures documentation; work with multiple agencies and workgroups; present in front of groups; ensure compliance with pertinent rules and regulations as they pertain to area of responsibility; comply with Alcohol & Drug Testing Policy (06-001-0010) and Background Check Policy (06-001-0015), as well as supervisors/designee directives; maintain confidentiality.
